If it was done to protect Obama's image during an election that is not acceptable.

That is the controversy.

And it still deserves a tin foil hat. A massive government-wide conspiracy spanning the Defense Dept, the State Dept, and the CIA, all devoted to "protecting Obama's image".

The CIA and defense department's job is to find out the facts, it isn't their job to get on TV and talk about classified information. You seem to be misunderstanding the situation. It is entirely possible that Obama had the info about the attack and didn't release it. That has nothing to do with the "cia and defense department being in on it".

Obama makes the call as to what information does or does not get released after it comes to him. Like I said earlier I could see withholding it from the public for good or bad reasons, but I think its absurd to treat this like a tin foil hat conspiracy. If anything it could come down to questioning his motivations for withholding something that could have hurt him on national security during a campaign.

McCain is as stubborn as a mule. There was no cover up. The Obama administration successfully fortified itself and is refusing to answer questions. That is all.

"...And I'll be glad to send you a list of the questions that have not been answered, including 'What did the president do and who did he talk to the night of the attack on Benghazi?'"

When you make an allegation that certain basic questions have not been answered, it is important to know and say very clearly what those basic questions are.

It is also important to lead with a very strong question.

"What did the president do and who did he talk to the night of the attack" is not a very strong question.

"Why did the president for two weeks, for two weeks during the heat of the campaign continue to say he didn't know whether it was a terrorist attack or not" is a strong question, but it is not very important.

*Sigh.*

To me it's enough that Susan Rice withdrew and that Hillary Clinton answered for the mess--especially given that the Senators didn't nail her on anything.

The administration simply is not willing to corroborate with Congress as to what happened and what lessons can be learned. That is the issue. The administration should do so. That the administration's actions are suspicious is irrelevant to the fact that they are unacceptable. However, until the Republicans in Congress hold the administration to the correct standard, there is no reason for the administration to believe there is any worth in acting with honor.

In case anyone has forgotten, Benghazi: Americans killed in a terrorist attack in which the Obama Admin. ignored requests for more security because a terrorist attack was highly imminent.

The aftermath: The rational people want answers and those in charge be held responsible. The irrational cretins wish this incident would be ignored and forgotten.

Think: The Fast and Furious fiasco only with immediate deaths of innocent people.

The left-wing media has done a great job with smearing everyone concerned over the Benghazi attack with the "crazy" brush, which by the way is a tactic that Joseph Stalin used against his opponents.

FACT: The ambassador requested additional security and that request was never fulfilled. This was in a country WE JUST BOMBED and was known to be very unstable and violent.

FACT: The ambassador and 3 of his staff members were killed.

It's disgusting how so many people dismiss this as nothing of importance... Really shows that they don't have a flying **** about this country or the people who put their lives on the line for it.

FACT: Sativa Rose is a very bad porn star.
FACT: Most radio talk show host are extremist right-wingers or downright lunatics.
FACT: Stalin didn't smear anyone, because they simply *disappeared.

and that, my friends, is today's news.

It's painfully obvious that Obama is covering up something big in both the Benghazi attack and the Fast and Furious scandal.

What are you talking about? There have been several hearings, both closed door and open session, testimony from seniors at CIA, State, DoD, and other agencies, multiple timelines that have been submitted, several reports that have been issued, etc. More than enough was passed to congress on this.
