Did you guys catch Jim Carrey's anti-gun song?

I find it funnier that people are pissed about it.

He was also the Riddler.

So if someone does something in a movie, that means they support it?

Why would they take the part of they had to do something they didn't agree with?

Oh yea because they are shallow and just want money. The elevated platform they get + the dimwitted libs who praise actors so highly = an unfortunate amount of influence. However this time the rational people are not buying into it.

Also Michael Moore bashing capitalism yet making millions from his documentaries, LOL

Edward Norton played a Neo-Nazi in American History X, does that mean he's racist in real life? Arnold Schwarzenegger played a Terminator in Terminator 2, does that mean he's a cyborg in real life? Like always, conservatives have difficulties distinguishing fiction and real life, that's why they want schools to teach that the world was literally created in six days.

No, he criticized what he saw as crony capitalism where corporations wield unrestricted power to influence political decisions. Apparently to conservatives that mean he's automatically a communist calling for overthrow of the entire capitalist system.

crony capitalism where corporations wield unrestricted power to influence political decisions.

Like the Hollywood film industry?

They get away with nearly anything they want with relative impunity because they do it under the guise of "artistic license", and they're in a financial position to influence politics, just like any other corporation.

So Michael Moore is part of Hollywood now? Or did you miss the part where Fahrenheit 911 wasn't nominated for Best Documentary because it was shown on TV prior?

Furthermore, Hollywood did not cause the GFC nor are foreclosing homes, and people are free to not watch any of their movies. To equate Hollywood with America's banking system is simply fallacious.

Fenris, a better argument could be that Moore is for Unions, but outsources some of his film work to non-union jobs in Canada.
