Ironically, a lot of the girls who need this have crazy religious parents who would kill them for even talking about sex.

Yes, that's why its a good thing. Now those girls will be able to get plan b without those crazy parents knowing.

As a parent to a minor, I should decide what medications my daughter takes. If you had children of your own, you'd feel the same way.

No. You shouldn't. At the age of 15, they should have a say. I agree that it's optimal for the parent to have a say too, but if you're a good parent, you will have. If your child is afraid of discussing something like taking plan b with you, that's your fault, not hers and its certainly not the fault of the government for giving her a way out.

One step forward.

Yes, one step further. Soon we won't need any parents. Hurray!

What? This will help stifle teen pregnancy rates.

So will government forced sterilization. What's your point?

Good luck with that. Kids can buy all sorts of stuff without parental consent. Just look at the drug aisle at the supermarket. Do you want kids to have to have parental permission to buy eye drops too?

big government nanny statist BobGeorge wants the government to hold his hand and raise his kid for him to make sure she can't get some medicine. What's next, going to pay Obama to give her NyQuil when she's sick?

Oh, oh, I know this game!

So will the government running over pregnant teenagers with a tank! That'll put some of those tanks to good use!

Bonus points because nobody ever suggested the stupid thing I just said! I win!

My main issue with this is how it relates to age of consent. If a 15 year old requires plan b, there are questions as to whether or not a crime has been committed.
