Guilt by association is a lazy man's smear campaign.

THEY'RE NEO NAZIS.

This isn't a situation where someone he knew was a neo nazi and people are saying hey, his friend is nuts, see totally racist. This is a situation where he's donating and coordinating with Neo Nazi leadership.

Other excerpts show A3P webmaster Jamie Kelso (whose email account was one hacked by the collective) coordinating meeting between Paul and other members of A3P such as corporate lawyer and chairman of the neo-Nazi group Paul. “I’m going to go to the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) with Bill Johnson,” reads an email to an A3P member dated January 2011. “Bill and I will be meeting with Ron and Ran Paul. I have a teleconference call with Bill (and Ron Paul) tonight. Much more later. Things are starting to happen (thanks to folks like you).”

If you start saying this doesn't mean anything, then I would say you are sticking your head up your ass intentionally.

Okay, I'll bite and say the obvious thing everyone is thinking.

If this is true, then how come there was no huge national scandal about it? Sure, we shouldn't have to depend on that, but the fact is that there is something wrong with this story that prevents it from being taken seriously.

There was no national scandal because Paul was never a national contender. In the primaries his support was so woeful. Everything about Paul, from his successes to failures, was out side of the mainstream media because Paul never had a succesful claim to being part of the mainstream.

I also love that the Paulites are trying to derail this thread by equating anti-zionism with anti-semitism, when Paul himself demonstrates an anti- zionist policy.

It doesn't matter if Ron Paul tries to appeal to racists as long as the policies he supports aren't racist. Which they aren't.

Well it does matter, but while Ron Paul's politics is not explicitly racist, ala Jim Crow laws, they shift power towards racists. Which explains his association with neo-nazis.

Rev Wright was caught pretty clearly on-record making anti-semitic remarks and then backpedaling after the fact.

You do realize you can do that with anyone right? Hitler for instance decreased unemployment by 20%, decreased inflation by 200%, and increased GDP growth by 12%

That's not quite the same thing. At all, really.

Yeah, Hitler did those things - and he also did many, MANY horrendous acts. It's fair to say any good he did was outweighed by his atrocities. Wright, on the other hand, just said some stupid stuff. He never hurt anyone that I'm aware of. In fact, it's probably fair to say that, when all is said and done, he's made quite a few lives markedly better, maybe even saved a few.

All I'm saying is that you should compare the positives alongside the negatives, and judge from there, and when you do that, Wright's positives far outshine his negatives. You can't do that with just anyone, especially not Hitler.
