Is it def a ram? Hermes' staff, which could have a goat on in, was called a caduceus.

I have never seen a caduceus with a any sort of mammal head. Incidentally, every medical person since, like, the 1800s is misusing it. The proper staff for them belonged to Aesculapius, god of medicine,not Hermes, god of messengers and shepherds, and it had a single snake with no wings.
