My big problem is that good people are going to burn for not believing in God.

They can act like a Muslim in every aspect of their life and be incredibly moral or righteous people, and then just because they don't believe in God they're going to end up burning. How does belief in God impact whether or not you lead a righteous lifestyle? I do believe Islamic values are the best, but belief in God isn't really a "value." It doesn't change if you're good or not. And so many of my friends might burn in Hell because they don't believe in God, even though they act practically Islamic.

How is this fair or right? I just don't get it. It's the biggest thing I have to forget about religion when believing in it. And how can Heaven be perfect bliss if people I love are burning in Hell?

It isn't. It's also not true though, so we're good.

It is pretty easy really.

You can act like a member of the club all you want but if you don't pay the dues you cant join and get the benefits.

But being in a religion from a religious point of view isn't about being "part of a club." It's about being a good person.

Are you religious, TC? If so, this isn't something you should turn a blind eye to, or, as you say, "forget" to keep believing. If it's something that challenges your faith, you aren't doing yourself any good by pretending like it's not there. This may not be the best place to search for an answer to that question, but it's a start.

Perhaps they still accept God deep within their hearts even if their heads reject him and that's why they're still good, so they aren't really true atheists.

Yes, I am religious Pollux. And it bothers me.

And no Retrotastic, they are truly atheistic.

Then never, ever ignore the problem or pretend it doesn't exist. Keep on the search until you find an answer that suits you.

Do you know how offensive and condescending you are?
