No such thing as empty space - upon rejection into God's spot slides in Satan

I'm an atheist, to define myself more clearly I reject the notion of the existence of god without ruling out the possibility. I have spent the last year intensively studying psychotherapy and counselling so I can help my fellow man. I'm looking at working in areas like alcohol and drug abuse, and the aftermath of religious abuse, helping people come to an ontology that is authentic and healthy.

Rather than pleading with a metaphysical abstract, I decided to get off my ass and make a difference. You should do the same. There's not exactly an abundance of doctors in the third world, perhaps you could study medicine and give life to those who would otherwise perish. Maybe you could fight for equality in our culture through social activism or politics. Honestly man, anything is better than prayer, even if it's just volunteering at the local homeless shelter or donating some clothes to your local opportunity shop.

Stop abrogating your responsibility to a higher power and start looking after your fellow human beings.

I didn't make you do anything. See, there you go again, palming off your responsibility to someone or something else. Think for yourself. Question authority. Act with agency.

Also another one, straight from the Bible: You cannot serve two masters...

Can't serve two masters? I have a porn and an alcohol addiction. I think I'm serving two masters pretty well, thank you.

No, I'm perfectly happy with my addictions.

I also like how you change the definition of masters or whatever the hell you did, literally making it impossible to "serve two masters," because anything I say you'll just arbitrarily lump together as one and the same.
