This reminds me of all those people who prayed and had rallies and said that 'the people can go to the polls, but God has the deciding vote!' during the last election...until Obama won, then all the sudden God had nothing to do with the election and it was all America's fault and they'll pay for their evil, wicked choice.

Citation needed.

I'd love to see what groups were saying that. Never saw any of that in my neck of the woods.

Well, all right.

This guy.

"I don't vote based on religious beliefs anymore after seeing what I got for voting that way over the years.

We got GW because his opponents probably would not have invaded Iraq. Iraq will
play a big part in prophesy. Sadam was rebuilding Babylon for his glory. What was needed was a city built for the center of world commerce to fulfill the final destruction of Babylon prophesy. We got BO, (not because we hadn't showered and used deodorant) but because, I think God wants Israel to be weened from our support to show them that He is their source and protector.

Based on Dan 2:21, God casts the final vote that will put the candidate over the top. He puts those in power who will do His will whether they know it or not.:preach"

This guy.

"You lost me on this one, scripture plainly states that God sets up leaders and takes them down. He sets up leaders to fulfill His will. How do you figure otherwise."

Also, Pat Robertson...well, sort of. He later said he misheard God.

Want me to keep going? I could go to FSTDT if you want, that'd really ratchet up the hits, I bet.

And I don't know why it would surprise you, Suibom. If people think God decides the outcome of something as insignificant as a football game, is a big stretch think to think he might have influence on things that actually matter?

I'd say a quarter of Americans are idiots.

Or Calvinists.

Cue someone saying "Aren't they the same thing? hur dur"

Descartes is sitting in a bar, having a drink. The bartender asks him if he wants another. "I think not," he says and vanishes in a puff of logic.
