Never understood why Christians value free will over safety from threat of Hell.

Can I quote you on that?

If you want. In the long run, it means little how a book that's meant for entertainment is interpreted. I don't necessarily see how it follows but it makes no difference to me if the interpretation you apply to one book closely follows the plot to another. I don't see how it's comparable to differing interpretations of the Bible but it certainly doesn't matter. The point is that the Bible allows for plenty of interpretation and justification precisely because it's written to invite plenty of interpretation and varying justification. You'd think that a divine being would have the capacity to prevent this altogether but since it insists on being so (I guess?) secretive...

I asked you that quote in the form of a question and you said "Sure", then I asked if I could quote you on that, and you said "If you want".

There's no turning back now.

I said sure in response to "It's my interpretation, and since all interpretations are equally valid, so is my synopsis of Harry Potter."

Meaning, "Sure, it's equally valid."

This isn't something you can say was ambiguous, either. Given that at the time I said "if you want," I didn't go on and explain how Harry Potter is about the Hobbit but how your interpretation could be perceived as equally valid. No mod is ever going to side with you. And don't think that because a lot of people tolerate your nonsense that I won't bring one here and clear this issue up.

That was not spelled out in the original contract. You can't retroactively add that detail in. The bond has been made. The word has been given. The blood has been spilled. The contract is signed.

The mod will be informed, then.
