Unqualified yes or no would have been better. Like I said, your qualifier on the 'no' answer prevents an atheist who accepts current scientific understanding, but also acknowledges that it's likely that non-theists do believe in ex nihilo creation exist cannot answer accurately.

Really? Simple "yes", "no", and "I don't know" would have been enough. Maybe a request for people to give their own reasons for their answers, instead of you presuming those reasons.
