Christian and Xian

I just noticed this for the 1st time.

we know christ could be abbreviated with x so we get shorthands like x-mas, x-tina, and all that. none of this have any problem until I saw xian, which also happens to be a chinese word with religious meaning.

simple online translator defines the chinese word as daoist immortal / celestial being. it's often associated with hermit who trained for extended period of time (iirc a couple hundred years) and reach a state of god-like existence.

lol I find it pretty amazing that such coincidence could happen. normally I only use x to abbreviate chris instead of christ so that I would write xtians rather than xians.

Did you know?
Jesus had a secretary named Xian, and Xian had secretary named Jesus.

Yeah, Xians always confuses me to read. It's not inherently problematic other than it isn't in common parlance and is unclear.
