How do creationists explain the hierarchy formed by fossil and DNA evidence?

I think the ancient Egyptians would beg to differ on that.

They're all like "dude we had the pyramids made before that year, man. YOLO." (They had swag, it's weird.)

I don't even see how an OEC (like you seem to be) could have this position. You trust science on the age of the Earth but not dating human civilizations? Don't you hate cherry-picking?

What, exactly, are you using to determine that the Egyptians would beg to differ on that?

...the science of archeology? And other dating methods that you agree work?

Do I know that Egyptians have been around for more than 6000 years? Yes. And it's not like they're the only ones, just one of the more familiar ones.

I was wrong about the pyramids though. But people were setting the Nile around 5500 BC, and this is far from the oldest civilization that we know of.

How. What specifically brings you to this conclusion?

You really enjoy demanding proof for what is essentially common knowledge, don't you?

Want to know? Do a little reading.

What specifically brings you to the conclusion that the Earth is as old as science says it is?

Oh, so you don't even know? Okay then.
