The third link has a good allegory between drug use and simply eating chocolate.

from a personal standpoint, I'd rather have Jesus have ministered until very old age.

We ought to forgive Judas even if he wasn't high on drugs.

Christians shouldn't have to forgive him in the first place. He did what he was supposed to do.

Judas is just as responsible for his actions whether or not he took a mind-altering substance beforehand. Anybody is.

You don't even believe that Jesus is the Messiah, correct? Why, then, do you believe that Judas is as the bible describes him, or rather, did what the bible describes him doing?

Believing in Jesus isn't relevant to the question if Judas betrayed Jesus.

As a Christian I always figured that the betrayal was part of God's plan, because otherwise the crucifixion may not have taken place when it did (or ever, maybe). So I don't think he did anything worth punishing.

That said, I think the poll question is awfully silly.

It takes a special kind of person to correct someone on what their imaginary friends actually did.

Believing what the bible says, is however, relevant.

And the bible says that Jesus is the Messiah.
You don't believe that.
So what reason do you have to believe what it says about Judas?
