Any moderate Christians here?

I would say a good Christian is,a real man who ain't afraid to live for God.

A moderate is, of course, one who is too sissy to fully embrace Christianity.

I'm a Christian because I follow the Nicene Creed. I'm a moderate because I don't see the need to force my views on other people, particularly on moral issues like gay rights or abortion, and because I don't feel like I need to agree with everything that's in the Bible or in the catechism of the Catholic Church in order to be a good Christian.

How do you determine which parts of the Bible to believe and which ones not to believe?

Do you think Jesus calls Christians to be "moderate," or the opposite?

Me personally, i dont wanna be a "moderate christian".

Was jesus a moderate? No he shook the very foundations of what the people of the roman empire thought was godly and good and flipped it upside down. He changed the history of the whole world in his short 30+ some life span. He was definitely a radical. Radical for God.

I want to be a radical for God, and change the world for the better.

Your Christianity sounds pretty misogynistic.

Through a historical understanding of the text, and a decent dose of common sense.

Do you think Jesus calls Christians to be "moderate," or the opposite?

What makes you think he does either?
