"God killed more people than Satan!"

#1OrangeWizardPosted 12/23/2013 8:10:08 AM
Wrong.

Satan was partly responsible for causing Adam and Eve to sin and die, therefore, Satan killed every person that has ever died of natural causes, or of the imperfection of other humans.

Please stop repeating this misconception. Thank you.

I don't think the Jewish people think the snake was Satan, and I'd be more inclined to believe them about their book than you, so nice try.

That's like leaving during the first half of a movie and then denying the twist ending.

And what do you mean "their book"? Does Satan not exist in the NT?

Are you looking to discuss the real-life implications of this statement, or do you just want to engage in literary analysis? With so many people on these boards who don't believe in the Christian God (or Satan), any responses we generate are going to depend on how you want us to approach the question.

Neither?

I just want people to stop circulating the misconception.

According to your mythology, so was God. Are you for real?

Please explain how God is "partly to blame".

According to the mythology, God created...everything.

So if I create something, I'm responsible for it? Even us lowly mortals ascribe that level of liability to ourselves.
