Luigi and TailsPosted 4/9/2012 5:30:01 PM | There's probably some sort of statistic you could twist from people gaining better mpg from a standard car, than one that's had a better radio and uprated speakers installed. Typical latter folks are probably going to be more interested in cars, and therefore drive them a bit harder (sometimes occasionally), whereas those who aren't bothered are the sort to change gear at 2000rpm and be happy chugging up a hill at 30mph in 5th.
TC if you don't know the difference between makes of cars, much less a V6 and a 16V, then leave the thing alone. Otherwise you'll just cause yourself more problems. --- http://i.imgur.com/ix7dD.png http://i.imgur.com/IVLz6.jpg | http://i.imgur.com/RftvZ.jpg |
Jeremy3ebPosted 4/9/2012 6:12:56 PM | FWIW, I've seen gains in mileage from all the bolts ons and the tune that I've had done to my car (Mazdaspeed 3), buuuut, it isn't consistent from tank to tank because it's too dependent on whether or not I was screwing around that tank. If I don't screw around, my daily commute mpg went up by 4. I've actually catalogued this for a year and four months. |
