Is it true that your diet can change the way you dream?
For instance, the other day I woke up, had lemon and sugar pancakes, and went to bed (plans changed and I was tired). I had the most intense nightmares I've ever had. Either the food made me remember dreams I usually block out or I got influenced by chemicals in the food. Or am I just confusing correlation and causation?
Supposedly people have have a higher chance of having a nightmare if they eat right before they sleep. Seems to be somewhat true as the last 3 nightmares I had, I had after having a quick snack before sleeping.
