Video editors for Netbook (intermediate to advanced user)

Hi 285 board, new user here.
Without Edius6, I nearly would have died. After using it on a full laptop, I found it works perfect on a Netbook. Never crashes, speedy, and no incompatibility problems.

With that said, are they any other video editors that run on 1024x768 or less resolution?
Corel VSP versions 2 thru 4 all require a higher res. Magix, IIRC, also won't run on 1024x768. I'm not sure; Vegas 9 & 10 might run on those netbooks.

I'm open to all options; price is OK as long as an academic version or <$600 price exists.

Windows7 user, no MAC (but wish I could buy one), no Linux.

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking or proposing, but I'm so ****ing curious as to what Edius is and why I should use it. I've heard editors speaking of it, but I'm not sure what it is or why I should care.

What I'm asking? Suggestions for V.E. that runs on a netbook. Nothing out of the ordinary for this board.

Not as a power user my friend, just as a temporary thing.

Are you implying I asked the question in just? I hope not. If this was a troll post, it would seem so obvious that you would have to LOL, especially considering V.E. is not a very good board to troll versus Advice or Politics or Religion.

i'm not implying you were trolling. I'm just letting you know you're not going to really get any decent editing accomplished with a netbook. i don't even want to think about how long it would take a netbook to render high definition video.

And nobook means no editing gets down.

These high end editors that everyone is using, cannot compare to Edius 6. Silky smooth b**** of an editor breaks every other to pieces in peformance and works so well, why isn't it #1 in the industry?
