Amazon responded to my email in less than a half hour. They found an error, and have not only released my order, but have upgraded the shipping to One Day at no cost to me. So I'm getting those Munchkin sets (Original 2, Super Heroes, Super Heroes 2, and Cthulu) on Monday (damn Sundays....). I guess my writer's group and I will have to enjoy the insanely epic game another time, and settle for an Epic Apocalypse instead. <_<

The deluxe (read: comes with nifty board and pieces) Original is in another order, set to come here with Doctor Who: Enemy of the World in May.

Speaking of DW, there's still no word on the release date of the Underwater Menace DVD. It's like Xillia 2's US release date in that regard.

Ha. So Amazon decided to ship Deluxe Munchkin with my bigger order with the sets, meaning I'll be getting all five of the ones I ordered on Monday and the Doctor Who DVD will be released with free shipping on May 20. I'd ask if anyone here wants to play with me, but... you may know.

Maybe I'll track down Wave and nudo and play with them. =p

But mostly the raw sex appeal.

And death rays that never work, but still achieve their intended effect.

Mine, for some reason, always summons a Death Reaper named Ray. He's a cool guy. Plays cards, dances naked.

If you're patient enough, every death ray works.

Eventually.

It is Tuesday, April 22nd. The surviving episodes of DW: Web of Fear (plus the one missing episode reconstructed via stills and narrative) have just been released on DVD.

I have also gone a little more crazy with my Munchkin purchases, but I'm sated for now. The second Cthulu set, some card boxes for the treasures and doors, and a selection of boosters (including three seasonal ones). Hopefully they'll be here in time for my writer's group's second attempt at getting together for an Epic game. >:3
