In Uber Tristram I heard Mephisto lowers your resistance by quite a lot. Does anyone know how much? --- www.rpgdreamersforum.com

Speaking of uber mephisto, i've heard that you can overide his conviction by having a higher level conviction than him. In this case, i think his conviction is level 20 so you just need atleast a level 21 conviction to cancel his conviction. My question is, do you need to have this higher level conviction up during the fight in order to overide meph's conviction? Or can you just turn it on once and never have to switch back to it again? --- I'm a kinda person who agrees on things that ppl don't agree on or disagrees on things ppl agree on. In other words, I am a very negative person.

You'd have to keep it on. --- acct name*bubofett2 W/SC/L "There is no normal life, there's just life, ya live it."

What if you have gear that adds up to over 270 resists? Obviously, you'll always show 75 resists, but if your gear all adds up to 270 resists, which is equivalent to 170 in hell, then mephisto's conviction aura will subtract 125 and you should still have 45 resists right?

That's right, so having 300 resist instead of 270 will allow you to keep 75 resist vs Mephisto aura.

Yeah exactly, that's why I asked. I wanted to know just how much Resistance I needed.
