Bulletproof PenguinPosted 1/28/2008 6:07:16 PM | Why use a shotgun when you have a Minigun?

Maze1125Posted 1/28/2008 7:21:10 PM | fight a scout with shotgun or fists? are we playing the same game? I play a good heavy often and I'll shred most scouts in 2-3 seconds and it uses about 20 ammo.
Then you must already have the gun spinning or be fighting rubbish scouts, because when I play scout I kill almost every unspun heavy before he can even get a shot off. |
INSANEHYENAPosted 1/28/2008 10:16:31 PM | Almost always run with shotgun, heavy with shotgun is highly underrated since you move much more faster than you would with the minigun going, which is enough to make it harder for soldier to get direct rocket hits on you. It is incrediblely easy to shoot very accurate with the shotgun as heavy since your movement speed is not as fast as other classes, making it very easy to take almost any class down within your 6 shots. And you have 300 health, move for the closest meds if avaible as you ffight and you can easily outlast the toher guy in a fire fight since meds work precentage wise.
Minigun is meant to be used you you arrive at a predetermined postion you plan to attack from. --- Insane-Demo_Kirby http://steamcommunity.com/id/Demo_Kirby |
