TF2/Steam compatible with Mac?

I'm thinking about making my next laptop a Mac but I want to make sure I can still play TF2.

Please don't give me your opinion on whether or not you like Mac over Vista or XP or whatever...I just want to know if it's compatible. Thanks.

Gaming is possible with bootcamp. Actually I play TF2 with a mac.

Pentium 4 1.6GHZ, Geforce 2 MX, 256mb of ram =D and it runs WoW zomg.

Thank you for not giving me your opinion. This may come as a shock to you, but some people buy computers for stuff other than gaming.

But no TF2? Not sure I could handle that...

You can run a window in mac OS that is windows XP. You can then run steam/tf2 in that window, but you need a really good mac if you want even medium settings.

Actually, Mr. Popmpous-face, he wasn't stating his opinion, he answered your question with facts. Everyone knows that Mac's are not designed to run most games.

Sure they are good for other things (a.k.a. "stuff other than gaming") but you asked a game-related question.
