Question: What is the file size of TF2?

I'm currently kinda working with limited space..so I'd like to know how big TF2 is before I install it.

Well, by going into Steam and right-clicking TF2 and looking at Local Files, it says 8.5GB. But going to the TF2 folder under steamapps, it shows only 1GB. So.. yeah.. take that as you may. I imagine the 8.5GB also includes the HL2 engine and whatnot as well, so probably is more accurate.

One more question:

How many other computers can I download the game too? What I mean is, since TF2 is already activated on my Steam account on this computer, how many other computers can I download it too? Will I be able to put it onto the new one when I get it?

AFAIK, you can install your games on any number of computers. Don't quote me on that, but I've moved my Steam account between 4-5 computers and have no issues with it. You can only login to your Steam account from one PC at a time though.

Alright. Thanks. :D

and even if it is limited, I haven't downloaded it onto any others, so I should be good for when I get it. :D

You forgot the gcf file. My Team fortress 2 folder is only 950MB, but team fortress 2 materials.gcf is 1.61 GB, then team fortress 2 content is 3.08GB, and then there's another 6MBfor the Team fortress 2 client content.gcf AND THEN there's the HL2 engine...
so if you already have HL2 installed, you probably only need those files I mentioned...

its not limited at all. You can install your account on ever computer in the world if ya wanted to... though only one can be on the account at any time.
