Team fortress 2 mac

#1Doug151Posted 5/26/2010 1:39:08 PM

If i buy team fortress 2 right now even though its no available for mac could it work when it does get available because the orange box is on sale for 20 dollars this week and team fortress 2 alone is 20 dollars so i might as well get the other 4 games for free basically. So i was just wondering if i buy it now while its only for pc will i be able to download it with no cost for my mac book pro ? Also do you think my mac book pro 2009 will be able to run it well ?

I'm assuming you'll be able to download for free. Also Mac jokes incoming.

A:I really hope so, because I already bought it on my boot-camped windows partition.

A: Mine runs it 100% lag free with max graphics, and I have the same model as you, so you should be good :)

Yeah im already ready for mac jokes but i dont really care, so do you think i should just download it now ? Or will there be any issues like i download it and it says team fortress 2 could not be downloaded so i have to buy it separately, so basically pay an extra 20 dollars ?

The pad would work, but I will state that it is almost impossible to play TF2 on a trackpad. I would buy a 20$ mouse off of newegg.com if you could.

When they make TF2 available on mac, if you have bought it for windows/ bought it before it was mac compatible, you should be able to use the same account and then go to library and hit download. Unfortunately that will probably be next week when this happens...
