I was thinking of giving some friends $15 each for Christmas--a Steam giftcard, if you will. I read the wiki but didn't see any mention of gifting, and I don't want to put money into my wallet until I'm sure I can give it away.

...while we're on the topic, are there Steam giftcards? [goes off to look...]

Drat. I don't want to straight-up buy games for them, 'cause we all own different games and have different tastes...

You'd think Steam would have giftcards/giftcard-ish things. D:<

Perhaps you should take a look at their wishlist. Maybe they still have the 10 games from that steam giveaway several weeks back.

^pretty sure he doesn't know them all in real life.

Anyway, i don't think you can gift pure money. You'll have to gift games.
