My opinions for why I hate pyro

Flamethrowers in general I feel do too much damage too fast. Even the backburner. It's gimmick is it's supposed to kill fast from the back. Why does it kill so fast from head on?

Air blast is too easy to just spam. You don't even really have to time it. Sure you'll run out of ammo fast but there are a million ways to get that back.

The other support classes have to work for their kills. Pyro can just walk everywhere spamming his flames and he's bound to catch something on fire. Then he can easily just airblast and flare gun / or puff n sting for super easy super fast kills.

And even if the pyro dies after lighting a guy on fire they're gonna lose 1/3 to 1/5 of their health because the after burn lasts so long for some reason.

And for any who care

I have like 700 hours and my favorite classes are soldier medic and scoot

Sounds like you want pyro to be as useless as he was in QWTF and TFC. Second most useless class, only behind Scout back in the old days.

Or he could, you know, get out of the Flamethrower's pitiful range. Pyro's great in close range combat, and he's only good in close range combat. That's why they made the Flare Gun, and people still usually just use it for the crits.

Ironically, the damage parts fit Heavy and the Natascha/Tomislav a lot better.

Would you prefer going up against Pyro or Heavy?

Mind you, neither are OP in the slightest.

The range isn't that pitiful and his speed makes up for it. And there are a lot of really good maps with a lot of close quarters battles.

None of those things you replaced made sense. Natascha is supposed to kill fast from anywhere? what? And I'd definitely rather fight a heavy. He's only annoying if he has a medic. I only ever want to fight a pyro if I'm a scout or a pyro myself. Or if it's a really wide open KOTH map or something.

Yep. Most annoying character in the game IMO.

I'd rather join a server with no pyros and get decimated by really good snipers than dominate a team of pyros who are just average at the game.
