You don't need a Diamond Armlet to get the Excalibur. The chest (if it appears) has a 100% chance to contain the Excalibur with or without a Diamond Armlet.

Click FAQs, above, where you'll find graphical maps of Great Crystal posted.

For farming, if needed I usually peek at the Treasure tables in Split Infinity's walkthrough (for this, search key: TRENo31).

Use this map, it's the most intuitive one there is imo.

http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps2/459841-final-fantasy-xii/faqs/46722

And yes you need the Treaty Blade before you can get Excalibur. Plus you should be over level 70 because that area is populated by strong monsters and it was still quite hard for me even in the 70's and 80's.
Get weapons with holy properties. Should make your life a lot easier.

The FAQs page has a section labeled "Maps and Charts" that includes maps for the Great Crystal (Crystal Grande), two of which mark where Excalibur may be found.

I prefer the latter as well, FWIW. Both use English labels, however, so you may need to retype them into whichever translator you use, if any.

I know http://translate.google.com includes more languages than the elder http://babelfish.altavista.com does (redirects to Yahoo), though I can't attest to how well Google translates. Both accept URLs and should translate pages, at least partially.
