easytoremember8Posted 7/9/2012 11:48:40 PM (edited) | eventually, I got unlucky with deathstrikes and being unable to swap out my dps dealers to revive, then more death strikes on reserve members, and only one alive member has to hide to revive everyone. not even halfway through that, felt like 30 seconds of reviving and buffing, he regains about an hour's worth of health. hilarious. I couldn't leave the area cause I was stuck in a corner without an exit, but from what I hear, there's a good chance that if I leave and come back, he'll have regened anyway.
and as soon as my leader os rebuffed and ready to revive everyone since she has decoy, HURRR 5% chance to kill. I'm going to break this disc soon. --- "No amount of creativity is gonna get a Probe past a wall-in or an Observer past a Turret." ~ EGHuK Masters Protoss |

But honestly, if you're down to your last character and in such a predicament that you've found yourself having to hide to prevent a game over... you deserved a game over and should be grateful you survived. --- FFXII Perfect game Inventory at 2000+ Hours - http://youtu.be/d3UY3T3pThc |
Machines_Of_DogPosted 7/10/2012 2:23:59 AM | something like this:
ally any - raise foe targeting self - attack foe status = protect - dispel foe highest magic power - attack
all you have to do is switch party leader occasionally if you're on the steps...
alternatively you can fight yizzy AFK with DCG... --- "No-one tries to kill me and gets away with it..."~ Kliamgroq |
MParkerStonePosted 7/10/2012 2:27:57 AM | dunno about the whole hiding tactic but if you just go out the way you came in you should be fine. he only buffs if you're out of his range for too long. |
MParkerStonePosted 7/10/2012 2:29:51 AM | usually if i'm that screwed i just leave anyway, no point in risking a game over especially if you've managed to take off a good chunk of his health |
easytoremember8 (Topic Creator) Posted 7/11/2012 2:33:54 AM | ok he's down to 20 bars and i saved. apparently he'll use growing threat soon and tear me a new one. --- "No amount of creativity is gonna get a Probe past a wall-in or an Observer past a Turret." ~ EGHuK Masters Protoss |
MusashiExtraPosted 7/11/2012 12:02:11 PM | Growing Threat is no real threat. Only thing is that it makes you do less damage. It's actually easier 'cause you can just zone out and zone back and he'll recast Growing Threat. Before he finishes casting it, you can still do full damage. He'll always cast Growing Threat, too, so there's not even any danger of dying. The hard one is MK12. Yiazmat is a pushover as long as you aren't underleveled or undergeared. --- The shining light in the darkness... Isn't it awful... to have wings... and not know how to use them... | Tega. |

Won't you need to recast Expose on him to potentially hit max damage? You'll also need to Dispel him and set off a few traps to give yourself room to move around safely. I always found leaving the area to be more hassle. You'll also have to watch out for his Reflect trick when he starts using it, every time you leave. @Mparkerstone By the time he uses Growing Threat he'll be in critical HP. This triggers his augment "Low HP Atk+" which stacks on top of Growing Threat and also on top of his ever increasing combo rate. As you'll know, the lower your HP is, the higher your chance to combo. --- FFXII Perfect game Inventory at 2000+ Hours - http://youtu.be/d3UY3T3pThc |
