8-Day Completion update

I saw the 7-day run. They're close to 6 now? Don't they have to find a way to get the Positron Generator on day 2, and still grow 80 or so reds, to do that? Has Positron Generator on day 2 happened? I would love to see that!

Yeah, Positron Generator on day 2 is all that it will take. Although, I guess the distant spring day will also be extremely hard seeing as you have to deal with snitchbugs with only 40 blues <_<. Still, it's not far off.

To be honest, I'm excited to see what the TAS community will do with this once its been shown to be possible. In terms of ingame time, there's little to no improvements possible since each Day is a set time limit, but there's certainly lots of room for optimisation in terms of micromanagement, movement paths and fighting enemies.

I thought someone did DS with 40 blues (now that I think about it, I don't think it was with the snitchbugs). Including the snitchbugs shouldn't add too much time, should it?

Yes. Although, I did word it badly since I said a Day is a set time limit. I'm well aware of ending Days early, but that cuts down Real-time.

In-game time: Number of Days
Real-time: Minutes/seconds

Not that a speedrun of this nature would ever be measured in Real-time, but it does clarify my meaning.

SSBMaster11: Snitchbugs will likely add about 30 seconds if you get perfect luck. The problem is that they're so incredibly random that it makes the entire day significantly harder.
