I normally try that but somewhat the camera goes in other directions, however, I use Ragnarok to chunk a **** ton of his HP off of him.

Are you locking onto him? I've never had that problem.

Somewhat, I don't always lock on to him because I go to the other side of the arena to avoid some of his attacks, such as his freezing attack which you generally can't dodge roll like a shadow heartless.

Hmm. I don't think he can freeze you if you stay on the top step, perhaps until his final phase after his range hits its maximum. You might try never leaving that step — there's really no reason even to attack him once you get the icicle trick down.

If you're willing and have the opportunity, always go for Ultima Weapon. It's the best weapon in the game period.

Ultima is the better KeyBlade in my book. Slightly stronger, better reach, and more MP than Oblivion, and it's tough-to-deflect.

You shouldn't really take Target Lock off of Ice Titan while avoiding his attacks. In fact, it's better to keep an eye on him as you're moving to see what he's going to do next.

Seems like the general problem. Superglide sometimes seems to be the solution to this problem in some cases and conditions.

Can you explain why Superglide is the solution versus Ice Titan? Please do, because I don't get it.

It's only useful for closing in and moving away, from the corner to the downed Titan and back, and as such is totally unecessary because Dodge Roll does just as well for getting to the corner initially (Ice Titan has a very slow turning speed) and once there you never need to move...

I'll bet this is it, and is also the reason some believe Ice Titan is anything but trivial. People feel compelled to head to the middle and fight him notwithstanding that the bunt method works perfectly, and that causes multiple problems (disorientation, freezing, loss of rhythm), particularly in the final third of the battle.

While I fully respect anyone's efforts to make cheesy battles more competitive and I think Ice Titan is the perfect candidate for that, it may be worth remembering that there is a trivial method for anyone who wants to choose it.

But either way, if you choose to stay close by the Titan then you don't need Superglide. Dodge Roll and Guard works fine. If you choose to stay at a distance, then you don't need Superglide because the damage you can achieve by using it is superficial. Guard, timed properly, can prevent icefalls here too.

I'm trying to fathom how TC thinks that Superglide is a key factor in this fight at all.

1 MP was a lot on that game. And Thundaga was a last resort room-killer. Because I didn't really use Trinity Limit. Took away AP from more important skills and you can't fight that many bosses with it.

For me as well. That's why I break away to go collect Lady Luck, certainly.

And Thundaga was a last resort room-killer.

Heh, my leveling passes are all thundaga, all the time. Constant barrages, room after room. Definitely a room-killer if Sora's MP is at least 12, and more than worth lowering other stats for such passes.

Because I didn't really use Trinity Limit. Took away AP from more important skills

Trinity Limit is a great farming and leveling tool. Two places I use it often.

One is clearing out "Final Rest minus one", since heartless respawn there simply by returning to Final Rest. In-and-out, target lock-on, Trinity Limit, collect everything, repeat.

The other is in Hollow Bastion or Agrabah, farming Mystery Mold from black fungi. I snuck a how-to on that into the Missable Guide's "Bonus!" section, if you're curious.
