Never bothered play slot, just played poker, should be fine, right?

Too hard...

Battle: Total time-killer. What you accomplish has no effect on the mini-game itself or on regular gameplay.

Card: Internal accomplishments (that is, by playing the game you can get certain cards that you might not otherwise), but no effect on regular gameplay.

In addition to the five Xenocard FAQs in the FAQ section that you may or may not find useful to read, this topic is also good reading:

Casino: All that matters, in the end, is how many coins you get, since you get the practical rewards (Bravesoul!) by spending coins. Whether you prefer slots or poker (or making money out in the real game and buying coins at a horrible exchange rate) is entirely up to you.

Drill: Try switching camera angles until you've got a top-down view and the drill first moves up, then right. You do still have to be mindful of angles (i.e. the drill will land a bit above the bar in the bottom half of the screen, a bit below it in the top half, right under it in the middle, and same for left/right), but that's how I find it easiest. Regardless, there are some nice practical rewards here as well.

Also, drill keys are always inside the glass bunnie balls, so you don't have to aim for anything else unless you're doing the missions (which I find to be somewhat harder, since they tend to involve pretty exact aim and you're timed).

Thanks Vil. Though it doesn't make the drill game really easier, oh well. I'll skip playing it on my first playthrough.

Are there any item exclusives for the drill game?

Yes, several. I already discussed most of them (with you, I might add) in this topic:

The only things I omitted were the mission 3 and 4 rewards, since unlike the rest of the drill rewards, you have to progress in the plot before they're available.

I remember doing the drill game a number of times until I couldn't do them anymore. What was the reason of that? (I can't read the dialogue, but I do remember that the female beside Holgar does talk to him when I did).

After a certain number of games - I think it's five - you have to leave and re-enter the mini-game arena before you're allowed to continue playing. It seems completely arbitrary, so unless there's some background technical mechanic involved (e.g. each game allocates a bit more memory and if you weren't forced to leave it might cause a memory leak and crash the overall game), there isn't much point to it.

Fact is though, you still have to put up with it every time it happens. But all you have to do is exit and then use your drill passport again. Gives you an excuse to save while you're at it, I suppose.

Something to the tune of "the area is still in preparation, the customer can't play right now, we're very sorry, we do hope you'll come and visit us again".
