Can someone please tell me how to cope with the difficulty of this game?

I know you said no cheats, but i found it really helpful to put on the infinite health cheat, figure out where you are going, then re-do it without the cheats. You make progress a lot fasterand it is a lot less frustrating than inching your way through 5 rooms twenty times because you don't know how to get past the lava.

Also, search for upgrades, especially health, as they are really helpful. Maps are a huge help, as you only stumble across a few on a normal path through.

If you meant that the puzzles are getting you down, i highly doubt you can finish without a SERIOUS time investment. Its nothing personal; this game had me stumped like a chump(I bought it for the Wii when I was 17 so its not like i was cognitively disabled as a child...). When you see the solutions, i swear you'll hear yourself saying, "WTF? That's so cheap! How was I supposed to know to try that" It is very frustrating, but very rewarding. Good luck!
