I'd recommend Kaizo to people for laughs, but not Cube Root of 3.
Prime example: Right after beating World 1, 2-1 has a part which requires you to be Large Mario to pass. Since there are no powerups and map items to be had, you're pretty much irreversibly screwed there if you haven't managed to preserve one of the rare powerups in World 1.
At least Kaizo was playable to those with patience, time and savestates. Cube Root of 3 forces you to memorize the whole game, forces you in situations where you're cornered and are totally unable to proceed, and laughs in your face. My advice: don't EVER touch Cube Root of 3 if you want to preserve your sanity, unless you can give the hack-game a taste of its own medicine by using cheat codes or such.
Prozium - As long as it's not forced, and if one may choose to take it by one's own volition, it would be a miracle drug for mankind.
