Help with crashing

Hi I just bought Deus Ex Invisible War today and it starts fine but once i choose my difficulty and appearance the game goes to a black screen and locks up. How do I fix this?
I'm running Windows 7, i7 2600k, 8 gbs ram, and a gtx 580.

Btw, anybody here has the strange problem, that every time you load save, the gameminimizes itself to the desktop and then continues?
