Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland

Q) How many years does it take so your farm should be good? Like in Back to nature you have 2yrs to have a good farm?

A) You have one year to get one of the endings, but after you get an ending you restart at the beginning of the year. You keep all your animals, crops, power berries, building upgrades, but the townspeople treat you like a stranger again.

Q) BTW, can you get married in this Harvest moon and who are the ladies?

A) No, you can't get married.

Q) Does his game suck compared to the other Harvest Moon Games?

A) This is a matter of opinion. I liked this game more then the other Harvest Moon games I played. This is because my favorite part of the games is the story, and this game focuses mainly on the storys and interactions. But in terms of what you can do in this game, it does have fewer options compared to other Harvest Moons. You only have four different crops, can only raise chickens and cows, can't get married, and every time you finish an ending you have to rebuild your friendship with the townspeople from scratch. On the plus side, the controls are solid, the graphics are beautiful (IMO), and you get to choose what type of dog and horse you can get.

SomaFan, finally someone who feels like I do with this game. More Save the Homeland style Hm games should of been made if not improved on to make it more exceptable for the Average HM gamer but yet keep this style alive, I love the interaction, the gameplay, music, story, STH was near perfection.
