why does rogue gear have attack power instead of strength?

wouldn't strength be better for blessing of kings? and then they could share more gear with feral druids

Strength costs more on the item budget.
Twisting Nether: Takami (70 rogue) Thelara (70 pally) Valandris (36 warlock) Reinkai (70 mage)

Agility > Strength for Rogues.
(>'')> For The Horde!

Attack power = good stuff no matter what

Strength has more benefit for Warriors because it gives them more attack power for each point of strength

Conversely, agility has more benefit for Rogues, because it gives them more attack power for each point than a warrior would get from +agility

+agi is the most useful to a rogue, but +AP is acceptable since it's "cheaper" in terms of itemization.
The statement below is true.
The statement above is false.

oh never mind i just realized that it wouldn't work... because 1 strength = 1 ap for rogues but 2 ap for other classes so it could be imbalanced blah blah blah

Yeah, like, they won't put 76 strength on a leather item, mainly because feral druids would get AP out the ass from it, and warriors would get double.
