Neither he nor I are sure about it exactly.

The recruited friend logs in and groups with the recruiter's lower level character.

Have recruited friend right click the portrait of the recipient. The option to grant a level should be active.

A confirmation box will appear to accept the level.

Level up!

You forgot the part where they summon the referrer in a similar fashion.

Indeed. I assumed they knew how to do that. Nice catch.

Yeah, we've played together so we know about the summoning. my character was a few levels higher, though. :)

Thanks for the info. I will pass it on.

No...

it says 1 level per 2 earned by the *referred* friend to the referrer. So the friend who was referred can level your lower-leveled character up, and only up to level 60.

So me playing as obsessively as I am, I'll be able to have your paladin catch up with me this weekend? Aww yeah.

Didn't know I had to actually be higher, though.

Yeah. I can probably level my paladin a bit too!

But I think as a backup I'll make a Druid on the server and any extra +levels you have will go to her. I like the class but am hesitant to pay to transfer mine. :S

It might actually be better to wait to grant most of them. In three months, I'll probably make it to 60 at the least.
