Sorry, I couldn't tell the difference because of all the noise and smoke from my flying contraption.

Easiest ways are:

-If you have a lot of time to sit and stare at your screen waiting for text to pop up : Go farm the Time-Lost Proto drake.

-If you don't have that kind of time, but don't mind waiting : get Revered with The Oracles and buy the egg. 7 days later, it might hatch into a Green Proto-Drake

-If you have Guild members that are well geared for PvE : Try for either the Blue Proto Drake that drops from a Heroic, or do one of the achievements that grant one (Red, Black and Plagued IIRC)

-If you really don't want to actively farm something : wait a year and do all the event achievements (Winterveil, Hallows End, etc) and get the Purple Proto Drake
:: Remember, you can't spell "slaughter" without "laughter" ::
:: Want to play something realistic? Go outside ::

It may not be the "easiest" way, but get some skilled buddies, go do heroic CoT and in 30minutes you got yourself one.

CoT isn't a Proto-drake either.

Wyrmrest and CoT ones are drakes or more known as dragons.

A really really really big net and maybe 8 taurens to weigh it down, also alot of tranquilizer darts to sedate it for transport.
