So Druids have to do quests to get a flying mount? Is it all free? *spoilers*

This is the only group of quests that says anything about druids getting flying mounts:

okay it just said i need 5000 gold to get the violet flying mount, but is the normal slow ass one at level 70 just 900 gold like always? Do i need to pay for that mount? And I thought I could get it at level 68.

wow so i don't have to pay 900 gold at level 68 to get the mount? just about 10 gold from a trainer? isn't this imbalanced that druids get free initial flying mounts?

yeah we get a free mount, but the downside is that....well, there is no downside. Druids are just OP

Pallys and warlocks get cheap* epic ground mounts (if ur prepared to actually WORK for it and have a few friends help)

Druids getting basic flying cheap** just represents their ultimate "union" with nature, sicne they get al their other shapeshifts from quests to improve/prove themselves, etc.

* compared to everyone elses, anyway
** same as (*)

You still have to pay 5000g for epic riding skill.

And saving a few hundred gold is nothing, especially now in WoTLK.

you save 1000+ gold actually, since druids get free flight training.

people tell me, druids spells from trainers cost like 500 more gold than all the other classes, so it is more balanced.

You still have to pay around 500g and do a lot of running around for it. Discounted maybe, but not cheap.

Free flight training? Since when? We have to pay 5000 gold for epic flying and 1000 gold for the cold weather flying. As far as i know, there are no other "flight training"(s) that we need, and they certainly weren't free.
