Lua error?

#1VeRTigO EAPosted 1/27/2010 4:42:34 AM
All of a sudden, every time I press, or zoom out on the world map, I get this Lua error message:

I haven't changed anything within the WoW install recently, can anyone think of how I might be able to fix this? Thanks.

Is this an ingame popup or does this crash your game to the desktop?

If its the ingame popup, just go to your options and disable "Show Lua Errors"

Poi topic.

It's to do with a conflicting addon that's related to when you use your world map. Switch off all your addons, (check by logging in first with no addons and see if the LUA error appears to make sure it is indeed an addon) and turn them on one by one (logging in each time and attempting to reproduce the LUA error until you finally get it again) so you can pinpoint the problematic addon(s).

You can switch off LUA errors, but it's generally better to fix them. Usually helps to keep them all updated too.

Actually check Cartographer first, it appears to be that causing it.

Poi is at work in your addons.
