If you play Resto (I assume you do, since you'd not see the troll otherwise) there will be a cosmetic glyph in Mists that lets you use ye olde Tree Form. It doesn't give you any buffs like the pre-Cata one did, but it's great if you don't want to see your troll form.

I think trolls look really vicious and that is good in my eyes. Not every race has to be pretty or cute to be playable.
Not to mention most of the female troll models actually look adorable. Not that "I am totally gonna hit that" adorable, but still enough to make them feel good to look at.
