It seems to me that in MoP DPS likes to pull in instances more than any other expansion. It's rare that I find a group that actually allows me to do my job and pull mobs in a nice clean fashion rather then me being forced to clean-up a sloppy pull. As a prot warrior it can be a little frustrating since I only have 3 reliable AoE aggro abilities and 9 times out of 10 SW and TC are on CD when a DPS decides to go a head and pull.

Now I'd understand DPS pulling if I was a slow puller, but as long as everyone is alive and the healer has mana I chain pull the entire instance.

Am I alone in seeing this trend?

Yeah it happens, also there seems to be a greater representation of pet classes leaving on taunt and whatnot. There's a simple solution:

LET THEM DIE.

SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST.

I blame fast leveling in dungeons, where DPS can pull all they want and usually no one dies anyway.

Play with me. I'm so late to the dance in every fight that there's no way I'm getting aggro before the tank does. Or before half the enemies are dead.

OMG, this too but it doesn't seem as bad as when MoP first hit. The 1st couple weeks of heroics this was a constant problem.

Yeah, I see it too. It's not even just limited to endgame stuff, but all throughout. I have tanks at every stage of the game. 20s, 40s, 70s, and near endgame, and people are pulling s*** more than ever. Like 99% of the time it's a damn Monk, too. And 75% of THAT time it's a Pandaren Monk. >_>

A lot of hunters didn't realize that with 5.0 and various server fixes after that growl was being reset on all of their pets each time.

As a healer the way I handle the pet taunt thing is like if the pet's name is Indiana I'll say in party chat:

"Noooooo! Indiana! I'll save you!!"

Then I heal it a few times.

My tank friend just backs up and types /cheer for the pet then begins to /dance.

Usually the hunters take growl off at this point.

I hate having to clean up after a sloppy pull.

Morgasaurus, how do you handle DPS pulling?

I've tried a few times to just let the person who pulled die before I clean up their mess but the healers usually just keep them up so then I just look lazy =/
