Jee that's true, except some valor gear is BiS. Also, you're implying the gear you need will always drop in raids.

I just went and looked up the BiS items for each class/spec, and a grand total of two specs have BiS items that are valor - a trinket for Elemental Shamans and a trinket for Mistweaver Monks. I don't think one item for a grand total of two specs is a big enough argument.

So I should wait months before a patch to finally spend my valor points (which cap after 3 weeks of playing)? Because if I don't do dailies, I absolutely have no other way to spend my valor points.

I do agree that upgrades via VP should've been added to the game sooner than they will be, but the option is coming soon either way. Does it really kill you having your VP sitting around?

As mentioned earlier you have no choice to do dailies to spend your valor point. Have fun raiding without doing spending VP.

I've been a complete slacker when it comes to dailies, and I only ever do them on the off chance that I actually feel up for them, and I still managed to hit the required ilvl required for all the sections of LFR relatively easily.

Let me point out what the majority of people whining about dailies want.

An alternative.

Even in Vanilla I could friggin do instances to get Argent Dawn rep. What can't I still do that? Tabards were fine, just give us a weekly rep cap if you don't want us to get exalted too quickly.

I do agree that there should be an alternative, but the thing is, that isn't what people say when they complain about dailies. They just go "dailies suck wtf Blizz" and leave it at that. I could totally see where someone is coming from if they explained that they wished there was an alternative way of getting rep, but instead most people just whine about how much they suck.

You're casual and that's fine. You do LFR so you don't need to do dailies (or anything but hit the required ilvl because LFR is that, casual).

Again, the problem is that raiders are forced to do dailies to stay competitive. If you want good dailies discussions, go to the WoW forums.

I highly doubt that any guild outside of really hardcore, heroic-tier guilds (Which, according to you, only makes up 0.8% of guilds anyway) is going to actively force their members to do dailies to get some item that will probably be replaced by something from a raid anyway.

Also, I just do not understand your argument. On one hand, you're implying that you should have easier access to some gear, and then on the other hand you toss around "casual" like it's a bad word. Putting more effort into the game through dailies gives the extra reward of more gear. It's not a requirement to move forward in the game, it's an extra reward there for people who want to do more effort.
