This, although I'm excluding Mists because I haven't played it yet. The first 3 were all amazing and it's really hard to choose my favorite whereas Cataclysm just sucked bigtime.

I know this is a corny answer, but I honestly have enjoyed the game more and more with each new expansion. I don't do just 1 or 2 things, like I take advantage of all the content I possibly can. I raid, do heroics, farm mounts, farm gold for fun, farm pets, farm rep, level alts for fun, solo old content, i love pushing my limits to see which content i can solo. I love looking for rare mobs, looking for the hidden items in Pandaria, I love gathering transmog gear..So for me, the more content the better.

Newer players will choose wotlk.

True Players will choose Bc.

Players who can't get out of there sense of Nostalgia Will say clasic wow.

Stupid people will say Cata.

And Mists Is just Ok.

Your "new" players would have been playing for at least 3 years, nearly half the games life.
