1. Get's hacked, asks for item recovery. GM's refuse because I've been hacked twice before over a 5 year period so I'm ineligible to receive another recovery.

2. Tries to add a keychain authenticator to account bought less than a week ago. Doesn't work so disables it. Opens a ticket.

GM: You need to know your password and username
Me: I needed them to log in to see this ticket response, so I'm 100% sure I have them right
GM: You must have an old authenticator
Me: I bought it less than a week ago directly from the Blizz store.
GM: You must have been account sharing, any further action will require full identification, and further disputes will result in a total ban.
Me: But I'd like the added security, I'm just trying to add one of your security products to my account.
GM: The keychain authenticator is unable to be refunded, if you want you can purchase another one.

3. Sees that Diablo account has been banned for account sharing...
Opens a ticket
Me: I'd like to know the details surrounding my Diablo 3 account being banned.
GM: Securtiy is important to us a blizzard, accounts found to be doing anything that would give them an unfair advantage over others are permanently banned. If you wish to continue playing you may purchase a second retail copy.
Me: But why is the account banned
GM: It happened too long ago so the details for that ban no longer exist. The matter is considered resolved and opening further tickets on this issue is meaningless.

You weren't "hacked", you picked up a keylogger going to sites you shouldn't be going to. Not Blizzard's fault.

So basically don't look for sympathy here either? My bad I should have known better.

It feels like I've tried everything to give Blizz what they want. Even buying an authenticator isn't enough until you keep buying them to get one that works...

I really like WoW... but looks like there's no way to secure my account properly or to get Diablo back...
