A fellow guildie has recently recruited me to another server and guild. I have a WW/BM Monk there already, but I main a Feral Druid and want to play a caster toon to mix things up. I have one of each at around level 20 (Shadow and Destruction), but I'm not paying to transfer such low level toons over and I'm not trying to alt juggle like I have been. So which should I pick, and which spec?

For a Priest, I plan on maining as Shadow then, at level 30, healing in BGs and dungeons. Also, this is for a PVP server, so I'd like to stand a chance against level-appropriate gankers even if that just means running away/living until they get bored. Oh, and race recommendations are welcome as well. Horde only and no Tauren or Undead; I've done too much leveling as those.

I've not played Warlock High level, and Priest since MoP, however, I can tell you a little about Priests.

Discipline is leveling king. Atonement lets you heal while you smite the non believers and smite shouldn't miss since either their's a glyph that gives you 18% hit or they rolled it into the spec. Shadow priests aren't bad, and the new talents do add some interesting utility, but Warlocks will always win hands down when it comes to utility.

Speaking of warlocks, they sound like a completely different class to what they were. It might be interesting to try.

This is more intense than that time I forgot how to DO A BARREL ROLL!
Then I remembered to press Z or R twice.

Priest, because historically speaking, you have a better chance of being useful and powerful in different roles and content, whereas warlocks have about a 75% chance of being total crap at any point in time.

Though affliction is powerful against raid bosses, it's boring. Shadow Priests however are a lot more fun this time around.

I loved my SPriest in Cata, but after finding out that they're last in damage now I've lost all motivation to level her. I don't have any experience with Destro locks; I'd always assumed that they were played by people who would rather have a mage.

Warlock, i have both and destro is by far my favorite leveling spec (and pvp spec). There is something very satisfying about hitting 200-300k crits with chaos bolt
And embers is my favorite resource system by far.

disregard this post, clearly a troll if they think warlocks have ever not been useful since their very first class overhaul in vanilla. lol
