Anyone else feels that Pandaria is kind of faceless?

WoTLK had an epic campaign where the heroes were sent off to fight the Scourge and finally the Lich King himself. Atmosphere was epic, music was amazing and it really sucked you in. Cataclysm was not like WoTLK but not completely soulless. Pandaria feels... weird. It's like players have no purpose.

The opposite, too many threats, all of whom are fairly fleshed out.

Opposing faction

All doing all kinds of stuff everywhere with their own big stories. It's just a bit too full.

Sure but they don't seem dangerous enough. The Lich King and Deathwing were truly formidable. The Sha, Trolls, Mantid etc... not so much.

yeah, but that is because those already were established before they became raid bosses in an expansion. That's something blizz wanted to get away from with MoP, so now they're trying to get the hype built within the expansion, not before it hits the shelves.


Just went back and grabbed an twinked alt to 85 tonight, and I must say... I have forgotten how boring the storyline quests were in old. In WotlK, unless you read the quest text you never know what's going on. In CATA, if you don't watch the cutscenes and read the text you miss it. At least in MoP its all animated and voiced, I like that most.

I would ignore him TC. The second post always goes out to disagree with the TCs point. If you look at all the threads you start to see a similar pattern.

Yep, that's the way to go, rather than try to have a discussion, if someone disagrees with you, just ignore them. Solves everything.
