When should I start taking different quest rewards in Pandaria?

I want to be a Holy Paladin but currently questing as Ret, just got to the steppes and I'm wondering if I should start taking holy pieces now to prepare for 90 or does the dread wastes offer the gear I want?

What I did in Wrath for my Druid (going from feral to balance/resto) was just do dungeons while questing and pick up gear as I go.

Start doing it in Steppes and you'll be fine.

However, you could also just get the full PvP healing crafted set and the blue neck and rings from the AH, which are probably better than any of the regular quest rewards outside dungeons. If you have any Justice or Valor Points saved up, there are also some pieces of gear you could buy, and you could do the Sha of Anger for some guaranteed epic healing boots.

Also, sorry for the late reply but I really needed to sleep after chemo today. I know it varies server to server but in general what does the set cost? It's been ages since I've played and I'm finally getting into the WoW mood again yet know nothing of names or the current economy.

For a full 450 pvp set right now cost 1k-4k and the higher end is getting a weapon too
