I look down on people that play on PVE servers

A level 90 attacking a level 90 isn't ganking. That's a part of the game. There's a war between the Horde and the Alliance over Pandaria, remember? So obviously you're going to get attacked by enemy players a lot. But the better you get, the better you'll do. There's nothing more satisfying than having 3 hordies swoop in and try to kill you only to lose 1v3. I've worked hard to get really geared and it's certainly paying off.

Camping is rare. I've leveled 7 characters to the max level, all on PVP servers, and I've never had a problem with being camped. If there's horde camping an area, I move to a different part of the questing zone. Pretty simply. Even if you don't have flying and they do, shouldn't take more than 2 deaths to find an obscure corner to res in and hearth or something

Attitudes like yours is what drove me to stop playing WOW in the first place. Sad to see these kind of "facts" still exist.

Why are PvP servers more progressed than PvE ones? Because on a PvP server you need to always be wary of your surroundings, thus making you more aware in a raiding environment.

If you're focusing on a mob you're attacking while having the camera zoomed out 20 yards behind your character then yeah you're probably not cut out for a PvP server. And when someone swoops down on you from "out of nowhere" you call it "ganking"
PvE servers are casual. You get to be lazy when you're questing because there is no sense of danger.

I'm not even knocking on PvE servers. I played on one for the first 4 years and still have characters I play on them. But I can definitely tell you I've become a better player having been on a PvP server because of the precautions you need to take when you're out in the open world.

and shame on me for continuously posting in this troll thread.

I used to play exclusively on PVP/RP-PVP servers but then switched due to friends/family playing on PVE. Glad I got out while I did too because from what I've heard CRZ made PVP realms very frustrating.

Not at all. I've leveled up alts with CRZ, it's not hard to deal with. Some people just whine constantly. I'll never understand why.

If you're getting camped, just move to another area or log out/ go afk for a few mins. I've only played on PVP servers in my 6 years of WoW and I've never had a trouble with being camped.

So basically its the same thing as it was back then? Doesn't sound too bad, I might roll an alt on one to see for myself.

Because getting killed 40 times by skull level enemies while trying to level in hellfire is real PvP.

"Ganking" isn't a part of war. Ganking is ganking. In war you target key positions, fortifications, etc. In MMOs this is usually represented as zones where you PVP. You do not target random "civilians" in war, unless you are bat**** crazy, ala Hitler, it's a waste of resources. "Camping" is not rare in PVP servers, its the entire reason people who want to play on PVP servers play on PVP servers.

This entire thread is basically "Bawww I can't gank players in PvE!"

I agree. As I said earlier, beta men gravitate to PVE, alpha and competitive men gravitate to PVP.

Alpha men are off getting laid and not playing a game with gnomes and elves. PVE and PVP people are both losers.

If you really feel the need to look down at others in a video game, perhaps you need to take a moment to examines what's REALLY important in your life.

It's a game man... just a game.
