Damn, man. I just do not feel comfortable about that I just did. The entire time I was going through the set of quests, I just did not want to do what I was doing. I felt like a damn Nazi, just going around killing every Sunreaver in sight, even while most of them were just running around in confusion.

I didn't necessarily feel good about the quests on Horde either, but at least on that side I felt justified in doing so since while I was also saving a bunch of people. On Alliance I was just slaughtering people and it just did not make me feel okay.

Don't feel bad. They betrayed the alliances trust and even tried fighting for the very city they betrayed. The armored BE's were the baddies and I didn't care that I killed them. The BE civilians on the street running around scared as jaina was teleporting them to the prison are probably going to be let out in upcoming patches. I doubt they will be let to rot in there.

dat typing

And yeah I may (read: definitely) have developed some Alliance bias over the years, and while I think it was a bit of an overreaction, I can see how she's just about had enough of being **** on by the Horde left and right. I sympathize with the blood elves and their whole damned if they do, damned if they don't position, but that's just one of the horrible things about war. Everyone has to look out for themselves first.

I wouldn't call it slaughtering people for no reason when the Horde's been doing some pretty bad s*** since Arthas died.

The thing is, none of the ones you're killing had anything to do with the stealing of the Bell. On Horde side, all of the people you rescue you only show confusion, as well as sadness of having to leave Dalaran (and their lives) behind.

That makes zero sense. 99% of the Sunreavers weren't even with the Horde, for one. And for two, two wrongs don't make a right.

Maybe it was Blizz's way of balancing the "slaughter innocennts" after the Horde/that one douchebag orc dropped that bomb on that Nelf tree. Or did the Alliance already have a sort of payback for that?

This is the first ounce of "payback" we've gotten at all.

The Sunreavers have been breaking neutrality and assisting the horde specifically. Time and time again, in recent events, they had betrayed the Kirin Tor and proven that the horde had no place in Dalaran. As for the ones you kill, by lore, they resisted arrest. Let's also not forget that most of what you do comes at the command of a high elf, who also lost her husband(read: Rhonin) to sunreaver betrayal.
